Thorin is a very curious and happy dog. Fortunately, he does not suffer from bad separation anxiety, nor does he get car sick with us. He potty trained quickly (within 3 months of coming home) and impresses us with his ability to generalize new commands. He is a quick learner, though sometimes it is hard to find the right motivation. We jokingly say that he learns like a shepherd and listens like a husky. He has a bit of a prey drive but does not try to escape the yard ever. Thorin is quite laid back and a bit of an old soul. He is energetic without being hyper, and loves to explore new areas. He is a very loving boy and a bit cautious with new people (especially men). He warms up if you're willing to play with him; he loves to chase you or the flirt pole in the yard.
